This month, the UN is hosting the SDG Summit in New York, marking an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to these Sustainable Development Goals as we celebrate 20 years of delivering “tech for good” consultancy.
What are the SDGs?
The SDGs are 17 interconnected goals designed to unite nations on sustainable improvements across various topics. Initiated in 2015, these SDGs seek to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
September 2023 is beyond the halfway mark for the SDG target date and progress globally has stalled due to geopolitical crises, the COVID pandemic and economic instabilities. This month, the UN is hosting the SDG Summit in New York to renew focus and embark on a new phase for the remaining seven years of the plan, to 2030. The UN SDG Summit in New York marks a vital opportunity to unite and reaffirm our SDG commitment.
